Chris Stanley is the Senior Director of Surface Transportation Research at Leidos, leveraging over 20 years in engineering and transportation to lead the development of new technologies that advance mobility. Mr. Stanley also serves as the Program Manager for the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory (STOL), the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) national connected and automated vehicle research laboratory. As the program manager on research and emerging technology projects, he leads a team of engineers, software developers, and human factors professionals. Their work in analysis & simulation, design, prototyping, deployment, and testing helps shape a future where new technologies improve transportation efficiency, safety, and performance.
