Shawn Kerrigan, Ph.D., is co-founder and COO at Plus.ai. Under his direction, the company is developing self-driving trucks to enable large-scale commercialization of autonomous transport. Prior to Plus.ai, Shawn was CTO and co-founder of a hardware and software company in the solar industry. His earlier experience includes investment work at Bridgewater Associates, as well as strategy and operations work at McKinsey & Company. Shawn earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where he conducted research across engineering and computer science, and first worked with artificial intelligence technology.
