Craig Moore manages a Data and GIS Team at the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) in the division responsible for permitting. In this role he served as the lead for the implementation of a new right of way management application; a multi-agency web-based coordination and planning tool. Since starting with SDOT in 2008, Craig has provided GIS and data analysis to support planning, IT, operations, and now permitting. He seeks data driven solutions that increase efficiency, improve transparency, and break down silos. Craig’s deep roots in Seattle were strengthened by attending the University of Washington where he obtained a B.S. in chemistry and certificate in geographic information systems. Want more? He has visited every state except one, was born in Fargo North Dakota, and has snow skied in every month of the year.
