Paul Gabor




After working in particle physics (instrumentation; ATLAS, CERN), Paul joined the Jesuits, studied philosophy in Cracow, Poland, theology in Paris, France, and obtained his Ph.D. in astrophysics, also in Paris (nulling interferometry). He has been with the Vatican Observatory since 2010, robotizing the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope on Mount Graham, teaching philosophy and history of astronomy at the University of Arizona, and participating in two observational exoplanet projects.
