STRIDE (Southeastern Transportation Research, Innovation, Development and Education ) is the 2016 USDOT Region 4 – Southeast, University Transportation Center housed at the University of Florida Transportation Institute (UFTI https://www.transportation.institute.ufl.edu/ ). STRIDE focuses on developing novel strategies for reducing congestion, and has nine additional university partners, representing seven states in the Southeastern U.S. The STRIDE Center conducts research, education, technology transfer, and workforce development work to develop solutions for congestion-related transportation problems. STRIDE has developed close partnerships with state DOTs in the region as well as local agencies and industry stakeholders.
