SESSION C5: STRATEGIC & ENTREPRENEURIAL THINKING FROM LEADERS UNDER FORTY-FIVE

Session C5:

Strategic & Entrepreneurial Thinking From Leaders Under 40

This session will feature five senior executives under the age of 40 who have assumed leadership roles in their organizations. Given the strong investor sentiment in the Canadian market, many opportunities have emerged for entrepreneurialism in the real estate industry. They can be within small privately owned firms or larger institutional organizations. Entrepreneurs can be innovative and think “outside the box”. While they do not dismiss risk, they often have the ability to see value and reward where many others do not. What are some examples of the development projects, investment transactions and repositioning assets that they have executed? What niches do they strategically focus on to find the highest potential value opportunities that will provide quality returns? What have been the most significant challenges that they have had to endure? How focused are they on technological disruptors and transformation like PropTech and its impact on their organization, real estate activities, the market, and their clients?
