The International Dialogue for the Evaluation of Allergens (IDEA) is a multi-stakeholder initiative facilitated by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and supported by the European Commission. IDEA brings together experts from academia, the fragrance industry and its customers and provides a consensual and transparent framework for assessing fragrance sensitizers globally.
The panel discussion will explore the project's initiatives through workshops that build partnerships between the fragrance industry and its stakeholders; as well as improve the risk assessment of those fragrance ingredients identified as allergens, with the ultimate goal of further improving consumer protection.
